Entry & Exit Procedure In Quality Control Lab.

OBJECTIVE:
To lay down a procedure entry & exit procedure in QC Lab.
SCOPE:
This procedure is applicable for entry & exit procedure in QC Lab.
RESPONSIBILITY:
QC Officer/ QC Executive
ACCOUNTABILITY:
QC Manager  
PROCEDURE:
Entry Procedure
Enter in change room.
Put off the street shoe, keep them in shoe rack.
Cross over the bench.
Put on slippers provided in the change room.
Use dedicated slippers only provided in the change room for going into the quality control laboratory.
Wash the hand with 70% IPA disinfectant.
Collect the clean linen/ Laboratory dress from the safe of change room.
Put on Laboratory dress white apron and white cap / disposal cap in the change room.
Enter into the lab after wearing the Laboratory dress.
Disposable shoe cover and caps may be provided to visitors at time of visit in laboratory.
Photographs for Entry procedure in Quality Control Lab should be enclosed.
Exit Procedure
Enter into the change room before leaving respective department.
Put off laboratory dress (apron and cap) and put on the hanger provided.
If the dress is not dirty.
Put the dress in linen bin if dress is dirty.
Send all dirty dresses for washing every day.
Remove slippers and keep it at dedicated place.
Cross over the bench.
Put on the street shoe and exit from the change room.
